CNC Machining FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about CNC machining, prototypes, materials, tolerances, surface finishing, quality inspection, and international shipping.

What Customers Usually Ask

Here are the key details most customers want to confirm before starting a custom CNC part project.

Q What tolerances can you achieve?
A For many precision CNC parts, we can achieve tolerances up to ±0.01 mm, depending on material, geometry, size, and inspection requirements. Final tolerances should follow your drawing specifications.
Q What is your minimum order quantity?
A We do not have a strict MOQ. We can support one-off prototypes, small batch production, and larger production runs.
Q What is your standard lead time?
A Typical lead time is 10–25 business days, depending on part complexity, quantity, material availability, and surface finishing requirements. Urgent orders can be reviewed case by case.
Q How can I get a quote?
A Please send us your drawings or 3D files, material requirements, quantity, tolerance, surface finish, and any special notes. Common file formats include STEP, IGES, DXF, PDF, and DWG.
Q What materials can you machine?
A We work with a wide range of materials, including aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel, brass, copper, titanium, and engineering plastics such as ABS, PEEK, Nylon, POM, and Delrin.
Q What surface finishes do you offer?
A We can provide anodizing, powder coating, plating, polishing, bead blasting, passivation, brushing, black oxide, and other surface finishing options based on your application.
Q How do you control quality?
A We perform in-process inspection and final inspection before shipment. Common inspection tools include CMM, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
Q Do you ship internationally?
A Yes. We can arrange safe packing and international shipping by express, air, or sea, depending on your destination, timeline, and shipment size.
